Abstract :
In this paper, we propose and demonstrate the ultimate limit of resolution of Gold-Silicon-di-Oxide-Gold (Au-SiO2-Au) Nanorod arrays over 700 nm-1000 nm range. Through rigorous electromagnetic simulation we found that such arrangement can provide near-field subwavelength imaging over 337 THz to 345 THz range with 2.67% operating bandwidth.
