Abstract :
We presented the generalized multiple exchange (GME) algorithm, which is based on the maximum constrained least weighted squared error (MCLWSE) optimality criterion at the IEEE Asilomar Conference on Signals, Systems and Computers, p.314-19 (1994). In this paper we show how to extend the GME algorithm to automatically compute the data needed to plot MCLWSE performance curves. We will also show that MCLWSE performance curves are valuable system-level design tools for digital signal processing applications.
