Abstract :
This paper describes a control system using the cascade technique for a classical control model known as ldquoball and beamrdquo. The control system has been developed using the Matlab-Xilinx system generator in order to be implemented on reconfigurable hardware (FPGA) and it has been validated over the real system using the Matlabpsilas data acquisition toolbox and a national instrumentpsilas data acquisition board.
