Abstract :
Pixel-parallel architecture with 1b ADC per pixel achieves 6.4μW dissipation. Pixel memory element and event counting sensing circuitry control fingerprint acquisition. A 224 x 256 pixel array is built in a 0.25μm CMOS process.
