Abstract :
We present an intelligent robot control system which employs ultrasonic distance measurements. Consecutive stages of data processing are described with special attention paid to neural networks applications. An adaptable method of ultrasonic image restoration is introduced. A novel grasp parameter determination algorithm derived from statistical EM estimation method is discussed
