Abstract
Ferroelectric active thermal sensors are presented as promising evolutions of the traditional pyroelectric sensors. However, their development is limited because of the fatigue of the material. The influence of the fatigue is analyzed through a new method of characterization and modelling of ferroelectric materials: the measurement of the Experimental Preisach Density.
