Abstract
This paper proposes a numerical controller with a new algorithm for V-F transformation. Unlike the existing models which operate with a fixed frequency, the proposed controller could generate pulse series with arbitrary intervals so that the velocity of the motor can be changed in real time according to requirements. Moreover, the error of the controller can be compensated by employing a feedforward controller so that high positioning precision can be achieved. Then the effectiveness of the proposed controller is demonstrated by simulations applied to a double-axis servo system. The results also confirm that the proposed methods for compensating error of the system are effective and the precision of the system is greatly improved by using them.
