Abstract
Although there is no tidal power plant in Bangladesh but recently a research work has been carried out to investigate the potentiality of tidal power generation which is located at Moheshkhali island. This paper is the continuation of that research. The previous work did not perform the financial analysis and it has only shown the electrical energy generating potential throughout the year without mentioning its ultimate impact on Bangladesh Power System (BPS). This paper performs the financial viability analysis and reveals the extensive impact of that tidal power generation on the load management system of BPS.
