Abstract :
In this paper, an multi-agent decision approach is proposed to autonomously allocate the fault section and decide the switching operations to restore the load areas after the interruption of fault in an electrical distribution feeder. A new model of five-layer multi-agent system (MAS) is presented to efficiently response the autonomous decision. Fault flag in feeder automation systems is exploited to find the fault section in the MAS. Message transition graphs are presented to explicitly describe the inference process in MAS. The proposed algorithm is implemented by Java platform with multi-thread operations. From the simulation results of sample system scenario, the proposed MAS approach provides reliable and stable performance effectively.
