            Abstract :
Due to a system-inherent limitation, conventional SAR system is not capable of fulfilling the increasing demands of improved spatial resolution and wider swath coverage. Multi-channel SAR system is of great potential to realize high resolution wide swath (HRWS) imaging. This paper focuses on strategies to extend mapping extension of multi-channel SAR operated in spotlight mode. Subaperture based and modified deramping based approaches are put forward to implementing azimuth processing respectively.
