A vision control system of HID lamp finishing process
Abstract :
In this paper, a vision control system used to align the dimple of a high intensity discharge (HID) lamp with the dimple clip of the mount during lamp finishing is presented. An optimized vision control algorithm using searching lines was introduced and implemented to improve the accuracy of marriage process by an average of 47.6%. An experiment was conducted to verify the optimized vision control system. The experimental results are also presented to show the improvement
