Abstract :
A Sensorless control strategy for a Doubly-Fed (wound rotor) Induction Machine working with variable speed in stand alone power system is presented in this paper. A Luenberger observer is used to estimate the stator flux, while an adaptive scheme modifies the rotor position required in the stator flux estimation. Field oriented control loops are developed to regulate stator voltage magnitude and frequency. The present proposal behaves very well during steady state, start-up, varying speed or electric load changes even under parameter uncertainties. Extensive simulation results are presented to validate the proposal.
