Abstract
To overcome increasing space mission complexity and to provide an autonomous file transfer solution, the Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) has specified the CCSDS file delivery protocol (CFDP). CNES, as one of the active participants in CCSDS, has supervised the development of CFDP and its utility for space use has been demonstrated. This paper presents the organization of the proposed CFDP and its reference scenarios. Then its implementation is described together with the performance measurement results on a simulated space link over a local area network
