Abstract :
Since the wind energy becomes a large part of the energy System of the world, and the domain of wind turbines become bigger and vaster, which urged the researchers and the developers to look for new methods and issues in the both economic and technical sides. The papers aims to develop a dynamic model, of a generation system of electrical energy with a variable speed wind turbine using a squirrel cage induction generator which is connected to the grid by a back to back frequency converter, in this last one we are going to compare the performances of the HVDC (high voltage dc) link by applying a classic and modern regulation based on the utilization of VGPI(variable gain PI) which based on a new method that doesn´t need the acknowledgment of the system part´s as the conventional PI and PID regulators when the acknowledgment of the mathematical model is recommended.
