Abstract :
This paper presents a 2.4 GHz Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS) based on a 500 MHz Phase Shifter DDS and an Injection Locked Oscillator-(ILO) based frequency multiplier. The synthesizer output frequency is ranging from 2GHz to 2.5GHz. The frequency step is 300 Hz, and the measured SFDR is -65 dBc. Bluetooth modulation has been successfully demonstrated. Power consumption is 48 mW under a 1.2 V power supply.
