Abstract :
Tracking ground targets with GMTI sensors has been considered a challenging problem. This paper introduces a reformative unscented kalman filter for airborne GMTI radar tracking problem. A novel airborne GMTI radar observation model is proposed by analizing the airborne radar observations. To reduce the nonlinear relation between the Doppler observation and target state, Doppler observation is defined by a predigested distribution function. Experimental results show that the proposed approach is effective for airborne GMTI radar tracking with a low computation burden.
