As the high-tech enterprises confronted with a relatively high turnover rate, this paper empirically studied the influences of career orientation and job satisfaction on turnover intention for key talents. Based on career orientation theory, using a sample of 153 respondents from high-tech enterprises in Henan, it found that both types of autonomy and technical competence have influences on job satisfaction, and have impacts on turnover intention together with job satisfaction. The study results provide useful ideas on how to retain key talents in high-tech enterprises from the perspective of career orientation.
