Abstract :
This paper addresses the complexities arising in data fusion and tracking applications. Assumptions in contact motion and data statistics inherent in conventional approaches are very restrictive in practice. Novel methods for information integration are needed. Potential improvements realisable with an interactive information pre-processing and control concept is demonstrated in this paper by applying the technique for tracking a manoeuvring contact
