Abstract :
The University Grant Program was first funded by the IEEE EMC Society in 1997. Over the past 10 years it has provided seed money for the establishment of eight courses in the basic principles of electromagnetic compatibility at academic institutions on two continents. All past recipients were surveyed, and the collected data was used to assess the impact and exceptional return on investment of the program. Brief descriptions of some of the experiments developed are also included.
