Abstract :
An investigation is conducted of a tomographic approach to vascular network 3-D reconstruction from incomplete and noisy digital angiography views. The method reconstructs directly the 3-D volume from conic measure projections, using an analytic inversion formula and then, by estimation of vessels supports, eliminates the backprojection artifacts. Reconstruction from thirteen simulated projections demonstrates that even small vessels of three-pixels width can be reconstructed.<>
