Abstract :
This paper summarizes a joint NIST-Industry measurement effort. Time-domain and field uniformity measurements from 30 MHz to 6 GHz were used to verify performance due to a retrofit of RF absorber in an electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) compliance chamber. After the retrofit a standard IEC 61000-4-3(Al) test volume uniformity assessment was performed. These results show that the RF absorber retrofit resulted in improved radiated emissions and immunity performance.
