  • Abstract
A new extended-hybrid-method (EHM) is proposed. It unites the well known moment method (MOM), the generalized multipole technique (GMT) and the Uniform Geometrical Theory of Diffraction (UTD). With this EHM, it is possible to calculate special arrangements more efficiently in comparison to other standard computation methods. This is achieved by using the advantages of each method. As an example, the EHM is used to examine an antenna next to a human head model and a metallic door.
