Abstract
Because the traditional design method of a vehicle active/semi-active suspension system always design control parameters following structure parameters and it can not obtain the global optimal performances for the system, this paper presents an approach to design the parameters of the active suspension system by integrating its structure and control parameters based on genetic algorithms (GA) and Hinfin control scheme. The effectiveness of the proposed integrated optimum method to improve riding, comfort, security and portability was proved by theory analysis simulation and experimental results.
