Abstract :
Transmission of a digital image requires a lot of bandwidth. Current cellular networks usually do not cater for such services. The new CDMA2000 data services are however capable of high rate data services. The current paper discusses this issue with particular emphasis on digital image transmission. It also discusses a chip available for a such purpose
