Abstract :
As for clutch control during automatic mechanical transmission (AMT) starting, it is difficult to design an effective and adaptive control strategy. Aiming at it, an improved constant engine speed control strategy is adopted as a total control principle, and on basis of it a new fuzzy control strategy using throttle opening, relative deviation between engine speed and its target and engine speed change rate as main control parameters is proposed. It is supposed to implement constant engine speed control with jerk constraint. Finally experiments are carried out and the experiment results show that the vehicle can start successfully under various conditions and the process is smooth and quick, being able to reflecting driverpsilas intention with small engine speed fluctuating. This indicates the fuzzy control strategy has good self-adaptability.
