Abstract :
A SEPIC converter with low leakage coupled inductance is constructed with the low output ripple and noise, additionally with the wide input voltage range and small size of the circuit. The working principle with the leakage inductor is proposed and the small signal model is setup. Then relationship between coupled inductor and leakage inductance is discussed from the points of view of the magnetic flux path and magnetic coil structure. A simple inductor wound method to reduce the leakage inductance is proposed and the performance is verified by the experiment
