            Abstract : 
A compact millimeter-wave mixer module is designed using a 34-40GHz single balanced mixer MMIC and a novel folded substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) filter. The mixer module is designed and fabricated with advantages of low cost, compact configuration, and high performance. The module size is 3cm × 3cm with an IF output amplifier. Measurement result shows a conversion gain of 4dB, and a 0.17dB gain compression at -3dBm input is achieved.
