            Abstract :
Focused electron beam induced processing allows to repair defects in photomasks with high precision. The technology is employed to fabricate field emitter electron sources. Investigating the field emitters a nanogranular material is found, composed from metal crystals, which are embedded in a fullerene matrix. Those emitters show the capability to deliver “Giant current density” due to an `anomalous electron transport´ observed at room temperature. Several authors observed these effects in experiments. An explanation for such characteristics is given to explain the non destructive electron transport with a current density up to 0.1 GA/cm2 in nanowires of Au/C and Pt/C nanogranular materials.
