Abstract :
A dependence of an X-ray intensity from a counter metal target of a LiTaO3 excited by Nd:YLF laser light on a distance between the crystal and the metal target was observed with the 15- and 30-mm-diameter metal target. Almost constant X-ray intensity was observed with the 30-mm-diameter metal target. On the contrary, the distance between the crystal and the metal target of 6 mm provided the minimum spot size, the highest X-ray intensity, and the highest X-ray energy with 15-mm-diameter metal target.
