            Abstract : 
Simulation of waterway traffic flow at harbor can effectively verify the rationality of its statistics and prediction, revealing the basic law of its development. On basis of different classes of vessels, safe distance, ship arriving law and berths´ service level, the cellular automata model of waterway traffic flow at harbor was developed, which solves the problems of complexity and non-linearity effectively in the simulation. And the results show that the model conforms better to the actual conditions, which has an important theoretical value and practical significance to the port traffic control and management.
