Abstract
This paper describes a method of synthesizing a human image in a virtual space by recognizing the human motion from stereo images. However it is difficult to detect the positions of all the human joints from actual images. This image synthesizing method uses an associative memory which has stored representative human motion patterns to compensate for the insufficient information detected from actual images
