Abstract
This presentation evaluates the contribution of software integration for simulation-based analysis and robust design automation of fuel cell electric vehicle cooling system. The different topics taken into consideration were the building of the external flow field analysis model of the fuel cell electric vehicle, the method of software integration for simulation-based analysis, the optimization of the cooling system based on deterministic study, and the robust design based on uncertainty study. The method was applied in a fuel cell electric vehicle cooling system design. The results show that the simulation-based analysis and robust design can offer important information and design insights in an automatic way, and the development can be carried through rapidly and effectively.
