Abstract
In the present work we consider local coupling of and TE2m+l and TE0.2n+1 modes propagating in a rectangular waveguide formed by the surfaces x=±R(βz) and y=±L(βz) filled by an homogeneous longitudinally gyrotropic medium. Formulas obtained can be used for designing electrically controlled nonreciprocal polarizers and mode transformers
