Abstract :
A novel adaptive multi-channel online error-path modeling algorithm for 3-D active noise control systems is developed. This automatic identification technique has L parallel channels corresponding to L canceling speakers and each channel has (M+1) parallel adaptive filters, where M is the number of error microphones. For each channel, M filters are used to identify the corresponding error paths, and one filter is used to eliminate the highly correlated disturbance from the uncontrollable source. A switching scheme and delay element are used to guarantee a unique solution for these filters. The performance of the algorithm has been verified on a 3-D experimental setup
