Abstract :
The authors present the design and implementation of a real-time identification system for the adaptive control of an AC induction servo motor using the parallel processing technique. A parallelization scheme of the recursive least-squares algorithm has been proposed for the online identification of the approximated linear model of a decoupled induction servo drive. A dual-transputer-based real-time identification and control system has been constructed. The parameter identification and vector control of an AC induction servo motor can be accomplished within 1 ms. Experimental results are presented and verified
