Abstract :
The study of the electric signals generated by the contracting muscle fibers (EMG) is important for both neurophysiology basic research and motor neuron disease diagnosis. Classical methods make use of invasive needle electrodes. We introduce an algorithm for the decomposition of surface EMG into its constitutive motor unit action potentials.
