Abstract
This paper is aimed at investigating the forms of expression specific to the linkups between norms and showing structures with which to formalize the essential properties of such linkups, working from the linguistic formulations the provisions are set in. A formal expression of these concepts, defining a set of oncological categories specific to the legal domain, will enable us to supplement legal texts with information that software agents can process and exchange. In this process, important aspects of application are brought to light that help us find improved ways of using and understanding legal texts.
