Abstract :
The significant changes that are contained in the new MW 1000 magnet wire standard are reviewed. These changes and additions include the deletion of obsolete standards, as well as the addition of new ones. Editorial changes are summarized and major changes and enhancements to test procedures are explained in detail. Particular emphasis is placed on changes that have occurred since the last EEIC/ICWA Exposition in 1991
