Abstract :
This paper presents a simulation study of the capacity improvements offered by beamforming antennas in IS-95 cellular CDMA system. Compared to previous work, our approach considers a more realistic channel environment, as well as it takes into account various system imperfections, such as nonideal antenna patterns and imperfect power control
