Abstract :
This paper focuses on the delay-dependent stability problem of a class of linear systems described by neutral differential equations involving pointwise or discrete delays, using an appropriate parametrized model transformation of the original system. The characterization of the corresponding additional dynamics, as well as some sufficient stability conditions are proposed using Lyapunov-Krasovskii functionals. These results extend methods and techniques from S.-I. Niculescu (1999) and K. Gu et al. (2000) to the neutral case, and improve the existing results in the field
