Abstract :
This paper presented a control strategy for PWM converter in electric vehicle, with a variable structure current controller as the inner-loop and a fuzzy adaptive PI voltage controller as the outer-loop. Based on analysis of mathematical model of system and target of current control, function and algorithm of sliding mode variable structure controller for PWM Converter were presented. A fuzzy adaptive PI voltage controller with the direct voltage error and the slope of the error was designed. Simulations were obtained using MATLAB/SIMULINK. Experimental results were obtained with a laboratory prototype. The simulation and experiment results proved that the control scheme have the advantages of better static and dynamic characteristics, small overshoot of the system response, rapid dynamic response and good robustness. The proposed control strategy could meet the requirements of the energy feedback system in electric vehicle.
