Abstract
Recently the authors derived an asynchronous track fusion algorithm that combines tracks provided by different sensors with different sampling rates and communication delays (A.T. Alouani and T.R. Rice, 1996). In that algorithm, its dynamics propagates between updates, then it uses the tracks provided by the local processors (LPs) to update its track. The paper deals with the same problem except that the new fusion algorithm uses only the local tracks. No propagation of dynamics needs to be done by the fusion center
