  • Abstract
    Performance characteristic of Faraday MHD accelerator is studied in this paper. Main focus is to evaluate the effect of magnetic field to the thrust and flow performance of Faraday MHD accelerator. A one dimensional numerical simulation is performed in this simulation. The MacCormack scheme is employed to solve the set of differential equations with MHD approximations. Numerical results show the characteristics of normalized flow parameter and thrust of Faraday MHD accelerator for different value of applied magnetic field.
