Abstract
The fast H∞ filter is developed by one of the authors, and its practical use in industries is expected. In this work, the degradation of the fixed-point implementation of the fast H∞ filter is analyzed under the assumption that a quantized version of the filter gain is available. Also, finite word length effects of the filter algorithm are discussed.
