Abstract
This paper studies the problem of congestion control in high speed communication networks, especially ATM. A model-based predictive controller is proposed for rate flow control in a single bottleneck network. Through simulation, we show the predictive controller can effectively deal with the presence of uncertain and time-varying propagation delay
