Abstract
We describe a novel approach to the incremental, semiautomated method for composition of Web services in a geographical domain. First, we present the incremental component concept as a component that comprises both atomic and composite services under the same conceptual entity. Based on this concept, we describe an incremental methodology for composition by means of incremental component reuse. In addition, we present a prototype system in which this method is being tested in an emergency management scenario as part of the ACE-GIS project.
