Abstract :
The talk is concerned with the output feedback regulation problem for nonlinear systems. We will introduce the concept of the steady-state generator and present a general characterization of the internal model. The internal model together with the given plant constitutes an augmented system. The internal model is conceived in such a way that a regulator is good if and only if the regulator contains an internal model in some well-defined way, thus leading to a generalized internal model principle that also applies to nonlinear output regulation problem.
