Abstract :
For the time-consuming problem the obtaining data method from the dragging target was put forward. The problem was that the data were filled into the fields in parameters statistics of oceanic internal waves (OIWs) based on remote sensing images of MODIS (moderate-resolution imaging spectrometer). The new method was that the coordinate values of feature points were obtained when the field was clicked in intelligent system developed in Multimedia Tool Book. The feature points included in reference lines, in the edge of Dongsha atoll, in the measurement lines of the wave peaks in OIWs. The new method was based on a red target point that the point could be dragged by users and the point could be put on those feature points. After the coordination values were shown in the fields, the intelligent system calculated the distance between the two adjacent reference lines and the distance between the measurement lines of OIWs when the “Calculation” button was clicked. Compared to the distances the system shown the wave packet spacing of OIWs. At the same time the parameters of the propagation directions of OIWs and the length of maximum wave peak were calculated by the intelligent system. The intelligent system was rapidly and accurately to obtain the parameters and to reappear the wave peaks of the OIWs near Dongsha atoll.
