Message from Conference Chairman

The International Conference on Electromagnetic Field Problems and Applications (ICEF), first established in 1988, is an international forum for the presentation and discussion of latest developments and practical applications in the electromagnetic field. The previous ICEF has been held with great success in Beijing, Hangzhou, Wuhan, Tianjin and Chongqing. The Sixth International Conference on Electromagnetic Field Problems and Applications (ICEF2012) is to be held on June 19-21, 2012 in Dalian, China. Authors from 13 countries or regions submitted their original and previously unpublished contributions, covering research topics including Static Fields, Quasi-Static Fields, Wave Propagation, Electromagnetic Compatibility, Optimization, Nanomagnetics and Applications, Material Modelling, Coupled Problems, Numerical Techniques, Software Methodology, Devices and Applications, Electric Machines and Drives, Education, Benchmarking (TEAM Problems), Biological Electromagnetic Field and Its Medical Application. After a rigorous peer review process, the Editorial Board finally accepted 181 papers for oral and poster presentations to the conference.
