Abstract
In this paper two different winding connections of dual three-phase machines for different applications are described. Moreover, two d-q models for analyzing dual three-phase permanent magnet (PM) brushless AC motors and their relationship are explored. Based on the d-q models the flux-weakening performances of dual three-phase motors with alternate winding connections are analyzed and compared.
